Smithing
Smithing is a production skill in Runic Ages. It allows players to smelt raw ore into metal bars and forge the bars with other materials into various weapons, armor and tools. Both smelting and forging give Smithing experience. Its companion skill is Mining.
Smelting
Smelting ores can be done at an alloy furnace (requiring primary and secondary ore), while certain single-component bars such as Blurite, Silver or Gold can be smelted at a smithing furnace.
Smithing
Smithing is done via using the produced bars in a crafting table with crafting giving Smithing experience. Higher Smithing levels unlock new crafting recipes like iron and steel equipment.
