Grizzly Bears are neutral animal mobs in Runic Ages.

Spawning[edit]

Grizzlys spawn uncommonly in Forests, Flower Forest, Birch Forest, Dark Fold, Old Growth Birch Forest, Old Growth Pine Taiga, Old Growth Spruce Taiga, Taiga, Windswept Forest and River biomes at a light-level of 8 or higher.

Behavior[edit]

Grizzly Bears have two states: passive and hostile. Cubs are not hostile; adults only go hostile when attacked or near cubs. Grizzlys will also go after fox, chicken, rabbit and salmon mobs, attacking and/or killing them.

If a grizzly cub is attacked (unless killed in one hit), all adult grizzly mobs within a 41x21x41 radius will become hostile toward the attacker. Likewise, attacking an adult within a 16x8x16 radius of a cub will provoke any adult grizzly mobs in a 21x21x21 radius of the attacked adult grizzly.

Drops[edit]

Grizzly Bears will drop 1 Bone, 1 Bear Fur and 1 Raw Bear Meat on death.
