Defense Potions are Herblore potions in Runic Ages. Craftable at level 9 Herblore[1], they give 45[2] Herblore XP per potion.
Obtaining
Defense Potions are shapeless recipes.

Usage
Right-clicking while holding an Defense Potion in mainhand will consume a dose and boost the drinker's Defense skill by 1 + 8% of their max Defense skill rounded down. Boosts decrease by 1 Defense every one minute.
As Defense Potions increase the drinker's Defense skill, this causes the damage-reduction caused by their Defense skill level to scale with a Defense Potion if their Defense skill is high enough.[3]
Defense Potions do not allow players to wield armor above their current Defense skill level. Like all potions and food, Defense Potions have a consume-cooldown of 36 ticks (1.8 seconds).
