Deku Shield is a type of shield in Zelda Sword Skills.
Obtaining
Deku Shields can be obtained as trades from Armorer, Toolsmith and Weaponsmith villagers for 16 emeralds.
Usage
Shields are used to block incoming attacks. Using or sneaking with shields will slow the player and within 5 ticks (1/5 of a second) of receiving damage, cause players to receive no damage. If a shield takes attack damage of x 3.5 or more, it will take durability damage equal to the attack damage rounded up.
Deku Shields are extremely flammable, causing them to take increased durability damage (durability loss equal to damage received plus a modifier of +8) from fire, lava and fireballs.
