Editing Mining

'''Mining''' is a gathering skill in [[Runic Ages]] that allows players to obtain ores, gems, rune essence and other resources through rocks. Mining's accompanying skill is [[Smithing]].

==Mechanics==
To mine, players need a pickaxe and the required Mining level to use it.

===Rocks===
Rocks are the primary object players interact with in the Mining skill and appear as single block-large boulders with ore veins protruding.

With a pickaxe in main-hand, players right-click on a rock to mine it. Success rate (and thus if the player receives ore) is dependent on both the player's Mining level and the pickaxe they wield. 

While low-level ores such as copper guarantee near 100% success with each click, but higher-level ores may have reduced success chances if the player meets the Mining level requirement but does not have a high enough pickaxe.
