==Obtaining==
Deku Shields can be obtained as trades from Armorer, Toolsmith and Weaponsmith villagers for 16 emeralds.

==Usage==
Shields are used to block incoming attacks. Using or sneaking with shields will slow the player and within 5 ticks (1/5 of a second) of receiving damage, cause players to receive no damage. If a shield takes attack damage of [[File:120px-Heart.svg.png]] x 3.5 or more, it will take durability damage equal to the attack damage rounded up.

Deku Shields are extremely flammable, causing them to take increased durability damage (durability loss equal to damage received plus a modifier of +8) from fire, lava and fireballs.
