Editing Ranged

'''Ranged''' is a combat skill in [[Runic Ages]]. It increases the amount of damage the player can inflict using ranged weapons by 2.5 points per each Ranged level and what types of ranged weapons a player may wield. 

A high Ranged level means that players can wield better weapons and deal slightly more damage with ranged weapons.

==Gaining experience==
Players may receive Ranged experience during combat by pressing the ''R'' key and using the ''arrow'' keys to switch to the Ranged experience split menu. All mobs give at least 25 Ranged experience but specific mobs may give more or less.

Depending on how the player configures the XP split menu, XP received for Ranged may also be divided to give XP for the [[Defense]] skills.

==Equipment==
A player's Ranged skill determines what type of ranged weapons they can wield. Higher-level weapons provide greater offensive stats than similar weapon types of a lower level, creating an incentive to keep the skill trained.

==Temporary boosts==
Ranging potions may be used to boost the Ranged skill, providing a level increase of 1 + 8% of the skill.
